Kiersten is growing up.

As Kiersten gets older, I get sadder. I can't believe that my baby is going to be 8 in just a couple of days. That's hard to imagine. She's turning into such a wonderful, caring, compassionate, friendly girl, and I couldn't be happier or prouder of her. Here are some pics I have of her over the last couple of years. I've got baby ones, but I need to scan them into the computer.!

This was Easter this year. Look at the purity on her. She's such a blessing.

This my friend, is after a hard day of playing!

She lost her first tooth and freaked out. Daddy pulled and pulled and pulled, and her tooth finally came out. BUT when it did, she was crazy. "Daddy, I can't believe you pulled my tooth out," I remember hearing her say. She didn't really think that after it got really loose, that it would fall out. The tooth fairy brought $5 for the first tooth!

Kiersten's first field trip. They went to the pumpkin patch. She had a lot of fun.

Gymnastics, was our life for 3-4 years. She moved up so quickly. Kiersten was an awesome gymnast. This is her thing to do.

One of my FAVORITE pics of her.

First day of Kindergarten. She did so good, and I cried like a little baby. I can't believe she's in 2nd grade now.

PERSONALITY!!!!! She is full of it. This kid is CRAZY! I love how she loved to act, and play. There is never a dull moment when she's around. I love that she loves to be a kid!

Isn't she just beautiful?????

Abbi turns 4

What's in there Abbi? I love this picture becaus it just shows what kids do. They stand on their tip toes and look into windows.

My Little Princess. So sweet and innocent!

This is one the photographer took. She's silly!

A look from above. Another one the photographer took. A fav.!

Abbi and her best friend Meg. Meg is 2 days older than Abbi. They are the Church "twins"

This has got to be my all time favorite, and one I took. I love the way her hair blows in the wind. She's just so............. Abbi. You can see it on her face.

I love her "serious" look in this pic.

Is there a Dr. in the house?

We had community helper day at Preschool for the letter "C." All the kids were to dress up as a community helper. Abbi wanted to be a Dr./Surgeon like Grandpa and Uncle Joey. So this is her little outfit.
I guess after a LONG day in the OR (preschool), she was ready to take a nap.
I can't imagine how hard it must be to be 4 and have all to patients to see!

My Family

This is not the most recent picture I have, but this is my family!

Keep it in check

I have a friend at church and preschool who is batteling caner, and it's bad. She got up at church at gave a "testimony" on Sunday, that made me just hve to keep my life in check.

She's a mother of a young son and a wife of a great man. She's been so strong through all of this. I can't imagine it's been easy.

To hear how positive she's stayed thru this and giving God all the glory HE deserves, makes me wonder why we complain about little things. Like, so and so hurt my feelings, so and so said this, he's a jerk some times. You know what? We may have our feelings hurt and some one will make us mad, but it's not as bad as fighting with all you have to stay alive.

I realize that, I am quick to complain, (much like everyone else) but, we need to really think about what is important to fight over and get mad about.

I don't know if this makes any sense to anyone else, but it does me. Just praise God that you are healthy, loved and alive. Some one out there is dealing with a whole lot more and a whole lot worse.

Just my thoughts.

Abbi..... Won't sleep

Abbi, so precious, fell asleep at 5 this afternoon, it is now 9:30 and she's NON STOP. She's talking, begging and just plain wild. WOW. Where does the energy come from?
